PURPOSE:To facilitate the setting and correction of hour or time, by depressing a setting switch to correct time according to a voice input. CONSTITUTION:A setting switch mounted on a case of a timer allows the setting of various modes (the setting, correction or the like of time, hour and alarm) by depressing it. A voice input device comprises a microphone, a voice recognition circuit and an input comparison circuit and the microphone is mounted on the case of the timer. The voice recognition circuit samples a series of output waveforms from the microphone at a fixed time interval to be separated into individual words for standization and compares the waveforms thus separated with reference voice waveforms to identify them word by word. After the identification thereof, the results are shown on a display board or alarmed of by a buzzer or the like. Then, given voice inputs are memorized into a memory by pressing a set switch or the correction of time or the like is performed through a driving circuit. This facilitates the setting and correction of time or the like. |
