<p>PURPOSE:To give priority to picture quality and a shutter chance selectively by providing a focus detecting means and a means which makes a selection between the continuation of the operation of a coincidence detecting means for two video signals and only the operation of the focus detecting means. CONSTITUTION:In one-shot AF mode, a gate circuit 32 and a gate circuit 19 are open in the beginning and a gate circuit 18 is closed. A selector circuit 35 has its switch connected to a side A and focusing operation is performed with video signals stored in memories 15 and 17. When focusing is obtained, a focusing decision signal is inputted to a logic circuit 30 through the circuit 32 to open the circuit 18 and close the circuit 19, so that a selector circuit 14 selects a memory 16. In this state, a video signal is read out of a CCD 10 and stored in the memory 16. Two video signals of the same image formation system which are stored in the memory 15 and 16 and succeed with time are used by an arithmetic circuit 20 to perform camera shake quantity detecting arithmetic operation. In continuous AF mode, the circuits 32 and 18 are closed and the circuit 19 is opened to perform only the focusing operation.</p> |
