The ball cock comprises a cock housing (10) in which a plug comprising a ball (22) and a transverse hole (20) is rotatably mounted and which is provided with connection stubs (12, 14). One connection stub (12) comprises an outer stub (56) and an inner stub (58), which is separated from the outer stub by an insulating ring (62) and the inner end face of which bears on an inner shoulder (64) of the cock housing (10) via an insulating annular body (66).
