1) jet-spraying a size on a fabric to be coated in the thickness of 0.2-0.5mm on the underside surface of a part or the whole of the fabric; 2) continuously feeding the wet fabric into a dry chamber to be dried under air-blow for stiffening the fabric; 3) passing the stiffened fabric under grooved rollers to make fold lines to peel off the hardened size from the lines; 4) removing the peeled size flakes by a brush; 5) steam- heating the fabric to fix the dye contained in the remaining size; 6) washing the fabric in 50-60 deg.C water to remove starch and water- soluble material of the size mixture from the fabric.
