<p>PURPOSE:To enable accurate quantitative assay of an isocyanate radial continuously and automatically, by arranging respective infrared rays detectors on optical axes of parallel luminous fluxes, divided in two by an optical lens system. CONSTITUTION:A luminous flux from an infrared rays source 1 is made parallel with an optical lens system 2 while divided in two with a prism 4 and infrared rays detectors 6 and 7 are arranged on the optical axes thereof. An infrared rays absorbing cell 5 is provided on the optical axis is front of the detector 7. The infrared rays absorbing cell 5 has an infrared rays transmission window and a liquid to be measured is supplied between infrared rays transmission glasses 12a and 12b mounted on the transmission window at a fine interval at an inlet 14 and discharged at an outlet 15. Then, a difference between outputs of the detectors 6 and 7 is computed with a signal processor 30 and converted into an output corresponding to the concentration of an isocyanate radical.</p> |
