In a positive and non-positive connection of two aligning drive or output shaft sections of motor vehicles, the forces necessary for the torque transmission are for the most part applied through positively interlocking coupling elements arranged on the respective shaft section, as far as possible reducing the number of screw fasteners. The screw connection is essentially designed to secure the axial jointing of the two shaft sections thus connected to one another. In contrast to hitherto known solutions, therefore, only one or very few screw fasteners are now necessary. As a result, a rapid releasing of the connection of the two shaft sections is possible when necessary.
