PRODUCTION OF LAMINATED SHEET

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled laminated sheet having high resin content with a simple process, by laminating sheets consisting of a specific resin composition having high melting point and integrating the sheets by hot-pressing. CONSTITUTION:A surface of a substrate or a prepreg produced by impregnating a resin solution in a substrate and drying the solution is applied with a solution of a resin composition having sufficiently high melting point to resist melting at the drying temperature of the following drying step and the solution is dried to obtain a sheet of a high-melting resin composition. At least one sheet produced above is, if necessary, combined and laminated with a substrate and/or a prepreg and integrated by hot-pressing to obtain the objective laminated sheet. The above resin composition preferably contains (A) 10-95pts.(wt.) of a polyphenylene oxide (e.g. the compound of formula) and (B) 1-50pts. of a crosslinkable polymer (e.g. 1,2-polybutadiene) and/or a crosslinkable monomer (e.g. triallyl cyanurate).
