PURPOSE:A granular agricultural chemical composition, obtained by using a rubber and latex together with an agricultural chemical active ingredient and capable of controlling the elution of the above-mentioned active ingredients by an industrially and economically practical technique and having improved sustained release property. CONSTITUTION:A sustained release agricultural chemical composition, obtained by blending or coating (A) an agricultural chemical active ingredient with (B) rubber, preferably synthetic rubber, more preferably synthetic rubber latex, particularly synthetic rubber latex consisting essentially of butadiene and (C) a wax, preferably wax emulsion, having improved sustained release property and capable of improving the economic efficiency of the agricultural chemical. The blending ratios of the respective ingredients based on 100pts.wt. total pharmaceutical are 1-50pts.wt. preferably 1-20pts.wt. ingredient (A) and 5-50pts. wt., preferably 5-30pts.wt. ingredient (B) expressed in terms of solid weight of (synthetic rubber latex) and ingredient (C) (wax emulsion). The weight ratio of the ingredients (B):(C) is >=8:1. Furthermore, 0-94pts.wt., particularly 50-94 pts.wt. carrier is preferably blended.
