<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a thin-type air conditioner having high efficiency by vertically providing a heatable resistance plate provided with a moisture absorbent to the inside of a hollow panel wherein the one face of opposited faces is formed by a membrane separating steam and forming a gas path to the back side from the front side of the resistance plate. CONSTITUTION:The one face of a panel 10 made of a flat hollow material is formed of a membrane 1 separating steam and the upper piece 9 of an outer frame is freely opened and closed. The heatable resistance plate 4 made of metal wherein a moisture absorbent 11 is provided on the surface thereof is vertically provided to the center of the inside of the panel 10, and a gas path 13 is formed between the resistance plate 4 and the upper piece 9. The inside of the panel 10 is kept at low pressure by the operation of a vacuum pump 3 and steam is permeated through the membrane 1 from the outside and introduced into the inside of the panel 10 and adsorbed on the moisture absorbent 11. The sucked air is passed through the gas path 13 from the front side of the resistance plate 4 and allowed to flow to the back side and discharged to the outside through a discharge hole 12 of the lower end part of the panel 10. At the time for moistening or for regenerating the moisture absorbent, the upper piece 9 is opened and an electric source connected to the resistance plate 4 is switched on to heat the resistance plate 4 and the absorbed water content is desorbed.</p> |
