An adjustable length plank comprising a longitudinally extending pair of outer channel members 10 spaced apart by a plurality of upper and lower transverse members 11, located therealong to provide an outer assembly. A further pair of longitudinally extending inner channel members 13 are spaced apart by a plurality of further upper and lower members 14 located therealong to provide an inner assembly. Each of the inner and outer assemblies have a sheet-form member 12 & 15 located at least thereover and the inner assembly is slidably mounted within the outer assembly. Preferably the inner and outer longitudinally extending members may be metallic e.g. aluminium, and preferably each of the sheet-form members comprise chequer aluminium plate extending over and around the side edges of the inner and outer longitudinally extending members. <IMAGE> |
