发明名称 METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING OPTICAL ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To permit the obtaining of respective functioning surfaces with high accuracy by a method wherein a material for forming an optical element is pressed from directions orthogonal to a plularity of functioning surfaces respectively to form the optical element. CONSTITUTION:A material 13 for forming an optical element is arranged in a mold cavity 12, constituted of a frame mold 11 provided with an engaging hole for pressing and sliding a bottom force 8 and movable mold members 9, 10 equipped in orthogonal directions to the functioning surfaces of the optical element into orthogonal directions to the functioning surfaces of the optical element, and the mold pieces 9, 10 and the bottom force 8 are pressed simultaneously or with a time difference under a formable condition while heating them whereby the optical element 14 like as a prism provided with the functioning surfaces 8a, 8b, 9a, 10a is formed by a press. The material for molding the optical element is pressed by the movable mold members from the directions orthogonal to respective functioning surfaces whereby a sufficient pressure is applied on respective functioning surfaces and respective functioning surfaces may be formed with a high accuracy.
