PURPOSE:To enable an address set with low-priced parts by connecting a direct power source to one of the A/D input terminals of respective terminal equipments through a resistor for voltage division and setting an address by means of the A/D conversion output. CONSTITUTION:Each terminal equipment consists of a transmitting/receiving interface part IF and a control part CT, where A/D converter converting an analog signal from a sensor into a digital signal is contained. The direct power source Vcc is connected to one of the A/D input terminals of the terminal equipment through two solid resistor R1 and R2 for voltage division and the output of the A/D converter is connected internally to an address input so as to set the terminal equipment address. Thus even if a high-priced DIP type switch isn't used, the terminal equipment address can be set by only the solid resistor or a variable resistor in a low price.
