PURPOSE:To permit the holding of seal function for a long period of time, the facilitation of the overhaul and cleaning of the title nozzle and the perfect removal of remaining material by a method wherein a rotary valve is pivoted by a hydraulic cylinder unit to control the switching of the valve at a position between the position, whereat both ends of a penetrating hole are connected to a passageway, and the position, whereat both ends of the same hole is intercepted from the passageway. CONSTITUTION:A rotary valve 4 for opening and closing a passageway 3 is inserted into the intermediate part of a nozzle 1 and is provided with a penetrating port 21, orthogonal to the axis thereof, in the valve while the O-rings 19 of polytetrafluoroethylene for preventing the leakage of a material are inserted into both ends and are fixed by metallic rings 18. Links 5 are fitted to both ends of the rotary valve 4 and the rotation of the links 5 is transmitted to the rotary valve 4 while the links 5 are connected to a hydraulic cylinder unit 7. The leakage of the material through a gap between the nozzle 1 and the rotary valve 4 is prevented by the O-rings 19 of polytetrafluoroethylene, excellent in resistances to heat and abrasion, while the remaining material may be removed and the mixing of foreign materials may be prevented perfectly by cleaning the nozzle while pulling out the rotary valve 4. |
