PURPOSE:To provide an automatic fabricating device for a grating welded from longitudinals and transverses without requiring any tack welding process, by pinching transverses by a plurality of locating devices, feeding longitudinals with a longitudinal feeding device, and by welding the intersectional parts. CONSTITUTION:In the mating space of a pair of trucks 1, 1a to carry transverses, a transverse placing device 5 to retain a plurality of transverses 4 upright is drawn in and stopped, and the ends of each transverse 4 are pinched by a plurality of locating devices 3, 3a on said trucks for transverse 1, 1a. These locating devices 3, 3a move on the trucks 1, 1a to provide automatical location in the sequence from a through (e). Longitudinals 13 are automatically fed in the slit in each transverse 4 from one side toward the other using a longitudinal send-in device 30 in the sequence from (f) through (j). Then an automatic welder 20 welds the intersectional parts of transverses 4 with longitudinals 13 in the sequence from a through (e) of the longitudinals (f) to (j). |
