PURPOSE:To obtain a flame detection apparatus having high detection accuracy, by constituting said apparatus so that the judge reference signal of a judge part is determined on the basis of the quantity of light of an interference flame. CONSTITUTION:A flame detection apparatus is mainly constituted of flame detectors 1 provided corresponding to a number of burners arranged, an O/E amplifying board 11 and a flame detector control part 12. The flame detector control part 12 consists of the judge SBCs58 provided corresponding to photoelectric converters 49, the relay boards 59 connected to SBCs, a common relay board 60 and communication CCB61, and the valve opening and closing signal 63 from a burner main valve 62 is respectively inputted to SBCs58 and an adjusting tool 64 is connected thereto. The relay boards 59 are respectively connected to a burner control apparatus 65 and the common relay board 60 is connected to an alarm device 66. Various boiler operating conditions 66 are inputted to CCB61 in order to judge flame detection and connected to a host computer 68.
