摘要 PURPOSE:To attain the optical communication without time loss for 2-way communication and stable single wire 2-way communication by providing an inhibition means for the transmission for a prescribed time after the detection of the end of reception and a start means of the transmission immediately after the end of reception in response to external selection. CONSTITUTION:With a direction switching signal (d) from a transmission control circuit 2 at an H level at the single wire 2-way communication, an optical transmission/ reception equipment 3 converts an optical signal sent from an optical fiber 5 into an electric signal and feeds the result to an output communication control circuit 9. The circuit 9 converts a received serial bit into a parallel bit. In detecting the end of reception by the circuit 9, the reception end detection circuit 10 outputs a data strobe signal (a). A one-shot multivibrator circuit 11 generates an inhibition signal (b) rising at a prescribed time after the signal (a) and a take data (c) to the circuit 2 via an AND gate 8 and an OR gate 4. The circuit 2 uses the signal (c) to bring the signal (d) to an L level and feeds a serial bit signal from an input communication control circuit 1 is sent to an optical fiber 5 via the equipment 3. In case of the 2-wire two-way communication, the transmission state is attained immediately after the signal (a) is generated by using an H level switching signal.
