PURPOSE:To enable car speed control suiting driver's taste, by so constituting the titled device that a plurality of sets of various constant memories to be used for acceleration and deceleration at the time of setting of automatic cruising and during the automatic cruising prepared can be selected manually or automatically. CONSTITUTION:At the time of making of an automatic cruising setting switch 2 an actual car speed detected by a car speed detector 1 is stored as an aimed car speed within RAM 14 and a throttle valve opening memory is driven in a selective state at the time of setting within a constant memory 16, through which a tentative aimed opening corresponding to the actual speed is read out. Then a pulse motor 15 is controlled by driving by a CPU 13 according to the tentative aimed opening and the throttle valve is moved up to a position where the tentative aimed opening is given. Then deviation is obtained by comparing the actual car speed detected every fixed sampling time and the aimed car speed with each other and a constant read out from a multiplier memory within the constant memory 16 is multiplied with the above-mentioned deviation. After the same has been converted into a corrective quantity of a pulse motor turning angle, the pulse motor 15 is controlled through an output interface 17. |
