PURPOSE:To prevent drop of the output and engine abnormality originating from the injection amount such as generation of black smoke by furnishing a filter, which has a form projecting to the upstream, in a position upstream a fuel shutoff mechanism, and thereby eliminating intrusion of any foreign matter into a solenoid valve and clog of the filter. CONSTITUTION:A filter 54 in a form projecting to upstream is furnished in a position upstream a fuel shutoff mechanism. In the event of overflow, a spool 55 separates from a spool seat 53, and the fuel flows to the front of said filter 54 from an overflow passage 21, as shown by arrow, to catch foreign matters 75 in the fuel. The fuel which has got rid of foreign matters is exhausted to another overflow passage 22 passing through a gap between the spool 55 and spool seat 53. This prevents drop of the injection amount to be otherwise caused by foreign matters 75 stagnating between the spool 55 and spool seat 53 and also output drop of the engine originating therefrom. The foreign matters 75 are passed to the peripheral part 54a of filter 54 to deposit in an accommodation part 76, wherein flow of the fuel will never be hindered. |
