PURPOSE:To stably control a load current to a flat top state and to minimize the pause period of the load current by connecting a high withstanding transistor for falling a current in series with a transistor regulator. CONSTITUTION:A high withstanding transistor 16 is connected in series with a transistor regulator 5. A voltage limiter 17 is inserted to between the collector and the base of the transistor 16. The regulator 5 is shifted to a saturated state when a load current falls, the current falling transistor 16 is cut off, and an electromagnetic energy stored in an inductive load 8 is consumed as Joule heat.
