PURPOSE:To suppress size expansion of a capacitor by using an inductive load also as a higher harmonic preventing reactor for a power factor improving capacitor and setting up the capacitor to specific capacity. CONSTITUTION:A reactor for protecting the power factor improving capacitor 2 connected to a semiconductor frequency converter 1 is omitted and the capacitor 2 is connected to a load RL1 in series. The loads RL1, RL2 are set up to the same characteristics and the capacity of the capacitor 2 is set up so as to satisfy Vc=2E at the time of resonance when power supply voltage is E and voltage impressed to both the ends of the capacitor 2 is Vc. Consequently, the voltages impressed to both the ends of respective loads RL1, RL2 are equally set up to E, so that these loads RL1, RL2 can be driven under equal conditions. |
