PURPOSE:To facilitate the generatin and update of a natural picture by storing plural original picture into an original picture retrieval means in advance and using a control signal so as to extract the original picture in a digital picture signal at a prescribed location thereby generating a composite video signal. CONSTITUTION:In keying a key from a keyboard 5, a corresponding code signal is sent to a digital picture processing device 3 and a key signal is sent to a personal computer 4. The computer 4 retrieves a picture data and sends the result to the reproducing device 3 and a page command signal 9 of a color print photograph 19 in matching with the content of the picture data is sent to an automatic page operating device 11. Since a drive motor 16 uses the command signal 9 to retrieve the page of the desired color print picture 19 before an image pickup device, then a composite video signal 12 is sent to a display device 1.
