PURPOSE:To effectively ventilate a vessel by fresh air which has flowed into a rack thereby to prevent air from staying within the vessel by partitioning a space formed between the outer peripheral portion of the rack and the inside of a room into a feed air side space and a discharge air side space holding a rack therebetween, blocking a front surface opening of each stage of the rack in openable and closable manner by means of curtains across a plurality of racks, and opening vent holes in the curtains. CONSTITUTION:In each stage of a rack 2, its side facing an air feed side space 11 is opened across the full surface, and on its surface on the side of a discharge air side space 12, a clearance is formed with respect to each upper shelf plate 12 and a back plate 22 is provided in the clearance. A large number of vent holes 71 are regularly formed at a level of a space formed between each shelf plate 21 of the rack and a vessel 5 located downward of the shelf plate, in respective curtains suspended in a plural number so that they cover the opening surfaces of the rack 2 without any clearance. The outer peripheral part of the rack, the indoor ceiling, the floor and the wall surface are sectioned with each other by means of partition plates 4, and fresh air having been fed into the feed air side space 11 flows out into the discharge air side space 12 from vent holes 71 through the rack 2. Since fresh air passing through the rack 2 comes into collision with baffle plates 5 and is introduced forcibly into the vessel 5, air retention in the vessel can be prevented even if it is a plastic vessel having no vent holes in the peripheral wall.
