PURPOSE:To confirm the reset end or restart end at the remote control equipment side by providing return function of a restoration instruction signal to the equipment to be controlled remotely. CONSTITUTION:In sending a reset data or a restart data from a remote controller 1 to the equipment 2 to be controlled remotely, it is decoded by a control data discrimination circuit 231 to reset or restart a CPU 21 and a signal representing its control content is returned from a return circuit 232 to a remote controller 1. The transferred data is received by a MODEM 14, decoded by a control data discrimination circuit 231 in a MODEM interface circuit 130, fed to a CPU 11 via signal lines 151,152 to inform the reset or restart to the CPU 11.
