Press plant with a forming press of the pressure cell type with enhanced forming space of the press, especially with regard to depth of the forming space. According to the invention this is accomplished by designing the tray of the press with a planar bottom plate (3) and a detachable tray frame (4) resting on bottom plate (3). To absorb the axial loads induced by the working pressure on the short ends of the tray frame a vertically displaceable annular frame (2) or the like is provided, which is positioned right in front of the short ends of the working space. Owing to this construction the forming space of the press plate will not be restricted by working pressure dependent dimensioning factors. |
