摘要 PURPOSE:To increase glutathione content of a yeast, by exchanging the promoter part of a gene of a gamma-glutamyl-L-cysteine synthetase with a yeast promoter, thereby forming a recombinant plasmid. CONSTITUTION:The promoter part of a gene of gamma-glutamyl-L-cysteine synthetase originated from Echerichia coli is exchanged with a yeast promoter to obtain a recombinant plasmid. The recombinant plasmid is introduced into a yeast, the yeast is cultured and glutathione is separated from the cultured product. The medium used in the above culture may be synthetic medium or natural medium containing carbon source, nitrogen source and inorganic materials. The carbon source is glucose, sucrose, etc., and the nitrogen source is ammonium sulfate, ammonium phosphate, etc.
