PURPOSE:To shorten casting preparation time and to dissolve the difficulty at the time of drawing cast sheet by arranging an attraction means on dummy bar surface contacting with metallic belt, composing of the long side face of a mold. CONSTITUTION:Such as a magnet 10, etc., as the attraction means on the short dummy bar 12 surface contacting with the metallic belt 1, composing of the long face of the mold is arranged. By this attracted force, the difference of the drawing resistance of the cast sheet and the friction force between the metallic belt 1 and the cast sheet is supplemented. Therefore, the dummy bar 12 sticking to the cast sheet is smoothly drawn out together with rotation of the metallic belt 1. In case of producing the width change of the mold in the same running and even different kind of steel, the casting preparation time is shortened and reduction of the productivity is prevented. |
