PURPOSE:To bring a rotation body come into contact with an arbitrary surface of paper without making the ink applied surface dirty to improve printed paper carrying properties, by a method wherein the rotation body for feeding the printed paper is rotated as the printed paper is fed, and that surface portion of the rotation body which is brought into contact with the paper is provided with an ink repellent silicone layer. CONSTITUTION:A substrate 2 is made of rubber, metal, plastic, etc. or a composite of these materials, and a silicone layer 3 formed at the portion coming into contact with a printed paper is made to be at least 10mum thick and is coated with a printer layer to improve an adhesion. A rotation body 1 is preferably shaped to have an approximately 5-100mm diameter and a nearly 50mm or less width, and its surface which comes into contact with the paper is formed to be a curved surface, however, it is allowed to have a slight irregularity or a plane surface. An ink repellent silicone in use is a silicone elastomer which is prepared by adding a crosslinking agent or catalyst, if necessary, with a linear organopolysiloxane for curing. Ink stainability of the rotation body is remarkably improved by incorporating therewith 25-50wt% of silicone oil for enhancing the resistance to ink set-off and ink stain.
