<p>PURPOSE:To attain a compact tape guide positioning mechanism by controlling the positions of a slant guide and a columnar guide via the rotation of a tape guide base itself. CONSTITUTION:When a tape loading action is started, the tape guide bases 8a and 8b are moved toward a rotary cylinder 9 along guide grooves 7a and 7b formed on a substrate 7. Then a tape 6 is led out of a tape cassette 5 via the columnar guides 13a and 13b set to the bases 8a and 8b. At the same time, the tape 6 is guided by the slant guides 11a and 1b at a prescribed angle corresponding to the slant circumferential surface of a rotary cylinder 9. Then the tape 6 is taken up to the cylinder 9 and bases 8a and 8b are held by the catcher blocks 10a and 10b to complete a tape loading action. the guides 11a and 11b function to give tilts to the tape 6 so that the tape 6 has a correct touch to the slant circumferential surface of the cylinder 9.</p> |
