PURPOSE:To obtain the title compsn. having excellent flame retardance and mechanical characteristics and scarcely causing environmental pullution, comprising a polyolefin, a non-halogen flame-retardant and a graphite. CONSTITUTION:The title compsn. can be obtained by blending 100pts.wt. polyolefin selected from among polyethylene, poly-alpha-olefin, ethylene-alpha-olefin copolymer, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer and ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer, 20-200pts.wt. non-halogen flame-retardant (e.g. Al(OH)3), 1-50pts.wt. graphite such as artificial graphite, natural graphite, scaly graphite, coke and so on and, if necessary, 1-50pts.wt. phosphine flame- retardant as a flame-retardant assistant, an inorg. filler (e.g. clay), an anti-oxidant, a coupling agent, a treatment assistant, a pigment and so on. |
