PURPOSE:To form a molten carbonate fuel cell whose efficiency is high and control is easy by arranging a pressure swing adsorption type gas separator by which carbon dioxide in anode outlet gas is separated and supplied to a cathode. CONSTITUTION:Reformed gas (a) passed through a fuel preheater 25 is mixed with anode recycling gas (h) formed by removing carbon dioxide from anode exhaust gas (b) through a pressure swing adsorption (PSA) type gas separator 26 and recycled by an anode gas recycling blower 27, and the mixture is supplied to a fuel electrode 22 as an anode reaction gas (c). The air (d) passed through an air compressor 28 and an air preheater 29, carbon dioxide separated by the PSA type gas separator 26, and part of cathode exhaust gas (e) circulated by a cathode gas recycling blower 31 passing through a heat exchanger 30 are mixed with in a mixer 32 so that the concentration of CO2 is controlled to 5-50%, then supplied to an air electrode 23 as a cathode reaction gas (f). |
