PURPOSE:To add reserved words without correcting a source program by analyzing the program while using a reserved word use condition management table file to discriminate whether a reserved word can be used as a user word or not if the reserved word is described in the position where a user word should be described on syntax analysis. CONSTITUTION:When contents of a reserved word use condition management table file means 1 are retrieved by a reserved word use condition management table retrieving means 7 to find that a reserved word which cannot be used as a user word is used as a user word, an error message 13 is generated by a data reference analyzing means 8. An intermediate text 11 concerning data definitions generated by a data definition analyzing means 3 and an intermediate text 12 concerning data reference generated by a data reference analyzing means 8 are inputted and outputted by an intermediate text input means 9.
