PURPOSE:To execute imaging by an operation for moving an imaging device on optional paper with contact by reading out image data from the outside of the device while manually scanning the device and printing out the read data again on optional paper arranged on the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION:The rays of light radiated from an LED array 13 are reflected on an original through an aperture 12 and an image is formed on a CCD image sensor 15 and stored in a memory part. An ink ribbon 23 for heat transfer and a thermal head 20 are arranged on an approximately intermediate part in the longitidunal direction of a body case 11 to form a 1st printing mechanism. The 1st printing mechanism prints out the read image data in the device and a 2nd printing mechanism is arranged between the 1st printing mechanism and the body case 11. The 2nd printing mechanism retransfers heat transfer ink printed on a master film 25 to optional recording paper set up on the outside of the body case 11 by a transfer iron 29.
