PURPOSE:To increase the efficiency of a plant by conducting a fuel gas into an anode of fuel cell through a reforming line, converting an exhaust gas exhausted from the anode into a high temperature conbustion gas with a combustor, then driving a gas turbine. CONSTITUTION:Fuel 1 is introduced into a reformer 12 to form a fuel gas 2 by steam reforming reaction. The fuel gas 2 supplied to an anode 14 of fuel cell electrochemically reacts with the air and carbon dioxide in a cathode 15 to generated d.c. current. An anode outlet gas 3 which still keeps more calorific value than that required for gas turbine combustion is supplied to a gas turbine combustor 32 as fuel gas 4. In a gas turbine 29, the air 23 of the atmosphere is compressed by a compressor 30, and the fuel gas 4 is burned in the combustor 32, then heat energy is converted into mechanical energy in a turbine 31 and electric power is generated by a dynamo 33. |
