PURPOSE:To miniaturize a receiver by dividing binary identifying information of a receiver into bit units and providing a blank time zone between the end of a synchronizing signal and the start of the following synchronizing signal to insert information of each one bit there and transmitting this information from a transmitter. CONSTITUTION:An identifying signal generating part of the transmitter divides an 8-bit identification code (d) into 2-bit data (c), and these 2-bit data are inserted to blank parts of a synchronizing signal (b) and are transmitted. A synchronizing signal separating circuit 4 of the receiver separates the synchronizing signal from the reception signal. A signal separating circuit 5 separates 2-bit data. If the first bit of this data is '1', the following bit is '1' in case of the mark state and is '0' in case of the space state. This data is inserted to each space part 13 of the waveform shown in a figure (a) to form 8-bit information. This 8-bit information is identification code information and is sent to a comparing circuit 7 through a serial-parallel converting circuit 6. The comparing circuit 7 compares this data with the identification code of an identification code storage part 8, and the identifying signal of the receiver itself is recognized when they coincide with each other. |
