PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a system by using a stand-by processor to reconfigure a parallel processing computer without changing the number of processors and the arrangement even if a processor is faulty. CONSTITUTION:If a processor is faulty, a bus switching signal Sc goes to '1', and consequently, '1' is applied to control terminals of gates G2 and G3 to open gates. Inverted output '0' of an inverter is applied to the control terminals of a gate G1 to close the gate. As the result, data signals D0-Dn outputted from a processor P1,3 are inputted to a stand-by processor 1 through the gate G3, and data signals D0'-Dn' outputted from the stand-by processor 1 are inputted to a processor P1-1 through the gate G2.
