PURPOSE:To print out printing information on an optional paper surface by temporarily printing the printing information on a recording medium in a printing device and then transferring the information printed on the recording medium to optional recording paper set up on the outside of the device. CONSTITUTION:When earth rollers 16, 16 or 18, 18 are rotated, the rotational quantity of these earth rollers is transmitted to a sheet feeding roller 17 through a feeding wire 18 or 17 and an ink ribbon 21 and a master film 20 are transferred in accordance with the rotational quantity of the earth rollers. When a thermal head 30 heats the ink ribbon 21 in accordance with an image read out by a CCD image sensor 15, heat transfer ink applied to the inside of the ink ribbon 21 is printed out on the master film 20. The ink image printed on the outside of the master film 20 is located between the earth rollers 28, the heat transfer ink is melted by heating the master film 20 uniformly from its back and transferred to optional recording paper.
