PURPOSE:To generate a card in a short time, by executing freely a control with respect to one piece of punch pin, by a means for moving forward and backward the card which is carried out onto a base, in the longitudinal direction, and a means for moving in the horizontal direction. CONSTITUTION:By information from a computer, a motor 13 rotates, a belt 18a carries out a card T onto a base 11 from a gate 8 of a hopper 2, and a roller 14 feeds it in the direction of a punch pin 23. By a sensor 22, a base position is set to the first hole position of the card, the tip of the card is detected by a sensor 21, and the first hole PS is aligned to the pin 23. by information from the computer, the motors 12, 13 are driven, and a hole P is punched by a cam shaft 10 and the roller 14. When the base 11 moves horizontally, clutches 15, 20 are detached, and an offset belt 21 does not rotate. According to this constitution, prescribed punching can be executed to a prescribed column by one piece of punch pin, the constitution is simplified, and also, punching can be executed smoothly in a short time.
