PURPOSE:To prevent a picture quality from being influenced by the speed nonuniformity due to a manual scanning by irradiating the image surface of an original with the pulse generated corresponding to a scanning speed. CONSTITUTION:By the rotation of a roller 2 for detecting a position, a position detecting mechanism 4 composed of a rotary encoder is driven, and in accordance with the signal where the position detecting means occurs, image information is read and recorded. Namely, when the position detecting mechanism 4 outputs a signal, the first reading is executed and the image information is transferred to a recording part. After the reading is completed, the exposure for the next reading is executed and for the exposing time, a charge corresponding to an original is accumulated. After the exposing time is completed, the signal of the position detecting means is outputted, and then, the second reading is executed and hereinafter, the same action is repeated.
