In a single-rope catch device, which by means of fitted drag wedges clamps a hoisting rope in place when hanging it in the perpendicular rope tread of a winding installation and releases it in the reverse running direction of the hoisting rope, the drag wedges being supported with their inclined surfaces on loose rollers in a housing underpinned by supporting members, the spindles of which loose rollers are mounted at both ends in one side shield each of the housing and are guided in connecting links, which are angled in order to withdraw the drag wedges as well as to move them with pivoted levers, provision is made according to the invention for each spindle to be fastened with both ends in the side shields and for one of the side shields to be subdivided into two halves which enclose a rope-insertion slot open on one side and are supported and fastened on an undivided housing base plate recessed in extension of the rope-insertion slot and common to both side shields, and for one each of the two drive levers to be mounted on a side-shield half and to be supported with a rocker on a bracket plate of the relevant clamping wedge, which bracket plate projects through a recess of the side-shield half. |
