摘要 The invention relates to a device making it possible to teach the arithmetical concepts, which promotes learning of coding of a plurality of units in the form of a continuous element not exhibiting any unitary division. It consists of number elements which are preferably arithmetic gauges 10, 11, 12 whose unitary divisions are indicated by a groove 2 and in which the edges of the faces which are useful for juxtaposition comprise a chamfer 3. On the coding face 4 for the number, there is a distinctive physical feature 5 and along the two long edges of each number element there is a rail 6 on which slides a corresponding female part 9 of a mask 8 which can accommodate one or more number elements, be held in this position and integrate several juxtaposed number elements 10, 11, 12 into a single part. The device according to the invention is particularly intended for early numerical and arithmetic learning. <IMAGE>
