PURPOSE:To obtain a wholly bright hue, by providing a control means which controls the lowered share of light quantity due to the absorption at the outside of the hoped wavelength area of a color filter against the inserted quantity of the color filter which is brought into and removed from the principal point section of lenses so that the entire light quantity can be increased. CONSTITUTION:The 1st and 2nd filter plates 64 and 65 and a diaphragm 66 are installed to the principal point section 63 of image forming lenses 61 and 62 provided along an optical path (c). The 1st filter plate 64 is provided with a Y-filter 64Y and M-filter 64M at its both ends and the 2nd filter plate 65 is provided with a Y-filter 64Y and C-filter 65C at its both ends. The central parts of the filter plates 64 and 65 are composed of transparent parts 64T. Each color filter has such a light transmitting characteristic that the wavelengths B, G, and R are respectively inversely proportional to the inserting quantities of the Y-, M-, and C-filters and the filters absorb rays of light in a hoped wavelength area and transmit rays of light in the outside of the area. The lowered share of the light quantity at the outside of the hoped wavelength area is increased by changing the diaphragm value and increasing the entire light quantity. Thus the lowered share is corrected. Therefore, distinct clear color-copied pictures are always obtained.
