PURPOSE:The titled composition, consisting of a specific glycidyl ether type epoxy resin, specific modified epoxy resin and specific alicyclic polyamine (modified substance) or specific heterocyclic ring polyamine (modified substance) and having remarkably improved impact resistance. CONSTITUTION:A composition obtained by containing (A) an epoxy group- containing glycidyl ether type epoxy resin, (B) a modified epoxy resin prepared by reacting (i) a COOH group-containing fatty acid-modified urethane compound obtained by a reacting an urethane bond-containing compound, prepared by reacting a polyhydroxy compound with a polyisocyanate compound in excess and having 1-10wt% isocyanate group content and 1,000-1,000 average molecular weight with a fatty acid consisting essentially of ricinoleic acid at a ratio of NCO groups smaller than hydroxyl groups of the fatty acid with (ii) a vicinal epoxy group-containing epoxy resin at a ratio of epoxy groups in the component (ii) in excess of COOH groups in the component (i) and (C) an alicyclic polyamine, heterocyclic polyamine or a modified substance thereof at a ratio to give 5-39wt% component (B) based on the total of the components (A) and (B). |
