<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate the detection of a buried underground object to be detected clearly distinguishing it from other objects, by receiving reflected waves at several points of the buried underground object to analyze them with a data processor. CONSTITUTION:A sensor 2 is placed on a truck 1 to receive or transmit an electromagnetic wave or a high frequency magnetic field and the like and a circuit section 3 is linked to transmit a signal thereto and receive the reflected wave thereof. When a signal is transmitted to a tube 6 buried underground from the sensor 2, it is reflected from the tube 6 and the reflected wave thereof is received again by the sensor 2. The reflected wave thus received is sent to a data processor 4 via the circuit section 3 after being subjected to an analysis processing, the reflected wave displays a section video with the measuring position in the horizontal way and the depth in the vertical way on a monitor 5 let an operator to judge the presence and the position of the buried tube depending on the intensity of the video. When the buried tube 6 exists mingled with foreign matters 7, section videos of both are displayed on the monitor 5 by being duplicated or canceled, thereby enabling detection of the buried object 6 clearly separated from the foreign matters 7.</p> |
