摘要 PURPOSE:The titled fibrous material, obtained by nearly uniformly dispersing modified polyester fibers containing an isophthaloyl group-containing compound, etc., in a specific proportion in a surface corresponding to welding of a fabric having a multilayered structure and useful for automotive seats, house interior finish, etc. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous material obtained by nearly uniformly dispersing modified polyester fibers containing 1-20mol% isophthaloyl groups, e.g. dimethyl isophthalate, etc., or a derivative thereof in repeating structural units and prepared by copolymerizing the compound or derivative thereof in a surface corresponding to welding of a fabric having a multilayered structure, e.g. woven or knitted fabric having piles, multiple woven or knitted fabric, napped woven or knitted fabric, multilayered nonwoven fabric, etc. The above-mentioned modified polyester fibers in an amount of preferably >=200g/m<2> are present in a base fabric forming the surface corresponding to the welding.
