PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent solvent resistance in addition to good high-temperature rigidity, high-temperature creep resistance and stress- cracking resistance, by compounding a polyether ketone having a melt-viscosity falling within a specific range with an aromatic polysulfone. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be produced by compounding (A) 20-95(wt)%, preferably 30-90% polyether ketone (preferably having a recurring unit of formula III) having a melt viscosity y (poise, measured at 400 deg.C) satisfying the formula I (X is wt% of A in the composition composed of A and B), preferably formula II, (B) 80-5%, preferably 70-10% aromatic polysolfone having a melt-viscosity Z (poise, measured at 400 deg.C) satisfying the formula IV, preferably formula V, e.g. a polyether sulfone, etc., having a recurring unit of formula VI and, if necessary, (C) a filler, an additive, etc., preliminarily mixing the mixture e.g. with a Henschel mixer and kneading the composition in molten state. |
