<p>PURPOSE:To prevent reverse reproduction and disturbance of tracking by recording an ID (index) signal representing the recording direction to a track channel and using the ID signal at reproduction so as to discriminate the recording direction thereby reproducing only a region coincident with the reproducing direction. CONSTITUTION:A track is designated from a terminal 25, a reproducing direction is set and a tape 1 starts reproduction. A gate 54 is opened during the voice track scanning on a tape by heads 15, 16 by using a gate signal from a voice processing unit 33', the unit 33' generates an ID signal, subjected to identification 55 to generate a control signal S, a multiplex track PCM control 31 and an ATF processing 60 are started, switches 42', 43' and 44' are changed over to switch the gate 54 and to apply the ATF processing 60 and a reproducing signal of the designated 25 channel is fed to the processing unit. With a region of a track during the reproduction different from the recording and reproducing direction to be reached, it is identified 55, a servo processing circuit 30 is driven by a switch 62 to feed the tape fast or stop it and the reproduction is inhibited in the region. Thus, even if the region having different recording direction exists in mixture, it is reproduced correctly.</p> |
