PURPOSE:In subjecting vinyl chloride(blend) to suspension polymerization, to obtain a polymer having high bulk specific gravity simply and economically, by feeding an aqueous medium and a suspension while degassing a polymerizer, adding a monomer(blend) and a polymerization initiator and carrying out polymerization. CONSTITUTION:In subjecting vinyl chloride or a mixture of vinyl chloride and a monomer (e.g. vinyl acetate, etc.) of copolymerizable with vinyl chloride to suspension polymerization in an aqueous medium, an aqueous medium and a suspension (e.g. gelatin, etc.) are fed to polymerizer while degassing the polymerizer, stirring is carried out preferably at 30-60 deg.C temperature of the aqueous medium at -728--611mmHg, the monomer(blend) and a polymerization initiator (e.g. benzoyl peroxide, etc.) are added to the polymerizer and polymerization is carried out.
