PURPOSE:To enable the supply of power to the load side even during the replacement work of a watt-hour meter, by short-circuiting a movable contact plate for directly connecting a power source wire and a load side wire to the exchange a watt-hour meter while normally, it is kept open with respect to a terminal metal. CONSTITUTION:To exchange a watt-hour meter 10, first, a key is put into a keyhole of a cylinder lock 30 to turn and a cylindrical body 33 turns in linkage accordingly. A shaft 28 moves downward sliding along the shape of a cam 33b and with the movement thereof, a movable contact base 27 and movable contact plates 21 and 22 fixed on the shaft 28 lower. The shaft 28 stops stably as engaging with a to stage 33a of the cylindrical body. Movable contacts 21a and 21b and 22a an 22b abut respective fixed contacts 20a and 20d and 20b and 20c to cause a short-circuiting between terminal metals 13a and 13d and 13b and 13c. Thus, a power is supplied to the load side through the movable contact plates 21 and 22 even during at the replacement of the watt-hour meter 10.
