The invention relates to a device for preventing the wheel of a vehicle from locking during braking. The device comprises wheel speed sensors 17 to 20 of the hydraulic type, for example a pump rotationally driven by the wheel 1 to 4 or its shaft. The pressures generated by the sensors are applied to valves 21, 22 interposed on the main circuit 9 to 11, 16 feeding the brakes 5 to 8 so as to halt the supply of pressure to the brakes when the speeds of two wheels become unbalanced. <IMAGE>
