An encapsulated electrical switch panel is disclosed. A channel (20) is arranged in the encapsulation (1) of the switch panel, underneath a space (2) for a power circuit breaker (3). This channel (20) opens into a space (7) which contains a cable connection (15) and a mating contact element (16a). Provided above the space (7) is a space (8) for at least one busbar (10) which has a mating contact element (11). The spaces (7, 8) are separated from the space (2) by a partition wall (6) which has bushings (6a) for contact arms (5) of the power circuit breaker (3). The contact arms (5) each enclose a self-coupling contact element (isolating contact element, disconnecting contact element, primary disconnecting device) (5a) for one of the mating contact elements (11, 16a). When the power circuit breaker (3) is in the operating position, cooling air which is caused to flow by a fan (25) can be passed through the channel (20) into the space (7) and from there into the space (8). The cooling air flows first from these two spaces (7, 8) through the bushings (6a) into the space (2) for the power circuit breaker (3) and from this space (2) into the open air, either directly or through a fan space (26). The arrangement results in intensive heat dissipation from all the spaces in the switch panel. <IMAGE>
